last post

In this time, I write to evaluate this academic year the question is why evaluate this university year? The answer is because my lovely Judy wants an essay with this topic, so go on! This year 2009 is my quarter year of sociology at FACSO academy, there’s my last year with subject, so the real world, have less to wait for me and my knowledge (if I have it jaja). So in the next lines I evaluate all my subjects and my experience in this year, when I learn maybe not much new theories or methodologies, but if I apply a lot of my knowledge at empiric research.
The first subject is “Teoría VI”, was a charged from nacional prize of social scientist Manuel Antonio Garretón. In a few words this subject is like a real copy of Teoría V, when the teacher even repeats her old jokes. Other problem is the teacher travel a lot I don´t have much classes, so I don`t learned nothing new about Chile and her society.
The second subject is “Evaluación de Proyectos Sociales” this class are so bored, all classes was martyrdom, the only way to survive was read a good book for a while. In this class you work a lot, because all the weeks you have to something else. In this subject you learn How to be a technocrat.
The third subject is “Taller II” this class was the most important of the term, because you with your partner have to do an empiric research, then you must demonstrate all your scientific knowledge. Is like an essay of my future thesis.
The quarter subject is “Atlas Ti” is a really shit. You learn how to use software to analyze qualitative information. The problem is that you learn all that you need in two or three good classes, you don´t need all term to learn, so basically is a waste of time for me and a waste of money to my department. A good subject could was if you learn how to use a lot of software’s.
To conclude, this year academic not was of my productive years, maybe because my degree nears the end and was so relaxed. But in my life these years was very good to me, the trip to Peru-Bolivia, the trip to Argentina, my indoor, the classification of my country to world cup after twelve years of defeats, the girls was passed for my mouth ( a really hard work) to find the girl that make me crazy and make me happy. So if evaluated my academic year I say there isn`t a good year, because I have to learn much than I learned, but my life is really good now so I don´t have nothing to complying and who cares if one of my last year of my degree was relaxed, maybe was no better if I feel stressful..

My free time

In my free time I like to do a lots of things, like play soccer with my friends and then drink beer no matter if I win or if I lose, I love this sport because soccer has all that you need in this life, has passion, courage, love & sacrifice for the team. I love to play PES2009 with my friends, I think this game is the best emulator of soccer all the movements and the face of players are very real, so you can play with your favorite team, buy the most popular football player or be a champion of the world cup with your country ( a big dream to Chilean people).
In other moments of my free time, I love water my plants and smoke weed at the same time, is so ironic I care a lot about my plants, but when have buds I kill them and dry to smoke her delicious fruit. I like this activity because it`s so funny be a weed farmer and the most important you have your weed in the poverty period, so you don`t have to smoke "paragua”. I love to hear music to relax me or do music with my friends in other styles like reggae, rock! Or punk, this are my favorite music styles to play or hear
Now, If I have more time to do things I need go out for the University, because this activity consume a lot of my time and energy. But If I have it, I will love to do more exercise, like run or go to a gym, because my alcoholic habits give me a big belly.
If I have to do illegal things, I don´t know what things would have to do, because for the moment I do a lots of illegal things, mom always scold to do illegal things like my own indoor cultivation. But If I could burn a police car would amazing and felt like an extremist people jejeje.
In my free time always do thing that I like, if it were not so free time would not.

I Chose not choose, and the reasons there`s no fuckin reasons, Who need reasons if you got heroin

Transpotting became almost a cultural phenomenon as soon as it was released in Britain in February 1996. This film is a great work, it was based in a novel of Irvine Welsh writed in 1993. The film is about a group of yonkies friends that live in Scotland. Their favorite hobbies are got some drugs and then went to apartment to enjoy them. One day Renton (Ewan McGregor) decided try to forget her addiction, he try to forger her passion for the heroin, and be average person whit a car and a big television. These decisions are reasoned for the bad consequences and troubles than he and her friends had for to live a yonkie life.
I love this film, because doesn't condemn drug addicts, but it is probably more effective than any amount of preachy moralizing as it depicts the devastating consequences that can happen to drug users (maybe a good lesson to me jajja).
The film is well acted by a cast who has (mostly) become pretty famous since. Especially memorable is Robert Carlyle as the violent Begbie or Ewan McGregor as Renton. The film is directed to Danny Boyle inspired in a Irvine Welsh novel and screenplay it was charged for John Hodge.
This film have a great soundtrack, maybe is one of my favorites soundtracks. The principal song “lust for life” from Iggy Pop, or Just a perfect a day, from the ex Velvet Underground vocal singer Lou Reed are a greats songs then you must have you ear in your mp3.
I have seen this film many times. It is an instant classic. Go check it out.

The situation of Honduras it because of the president Zelaya wanted to make a plebiscite to the citizens where they had to said if they wanted some change in the constitution. This measures scared the conservative sectors because they saw how the carta magna was questioned, with it some privileges in that sector.
In that contexts emerged Michelleti’s figure , coming to defend the most conservative Right interests apparently there still remains an important part of power (such rather than a factual way). In my opinion this character is another one that when democracy does not fit their interests are forgotten and they scorching the authoritarianism.
Regarding Zelaya, is that the other side of this issue. I Support his position, because didn’t anything else that a consult to his people and the pro-coup attacks him . Now this character is not politically represents the left, cause he is a liberal. Despite our differences in this area, we can’t accept more coups in our region, by recent historical experience.

It's hard to know what will come, my studies do not permit me because I’m studying sociology, not futurology, when sociology tried it perhaps it was better when he did. However, the most likely is that Michelleti stays in the power until who knows when, unless it will be a pressure from the north, because they are experts in helping coups deny aid, overthrow, etc.

First of all, tourism is an activity that makes our city very well, definitely.
Santiago has many places, estates and architectural creations to see. In my opinion every corner of our City may be interesting to see and hear your story for tourists.
Forgetting places that obviously would be in a list of a tourist such as La Moneda, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de la Constitution, etc. I want to talk about the neighborhoods, because the essence of Santiago is in their neighborhoods, each with identity, architecture and history itself.
Santiago Centro neighborhoods like the pulse of the city in its full expression, where only you can feel it walking around, or Bellavista where we have a open air museum, and Alonso de Cordova is one of the most elegant avenues of the City, or Matucana wich combines streets of residential areas with commercial activity, or Brasil with its colonial buildings, or Lastarria with a mixture of architectural styles. These are places that have to see if you come to visit our city, we must not think of the biggest names or the most widely known buildings, think with an open mind, without prejudices and explore Santiago and activities like the sports, gastronomy, folklore, literature, music, etc to make you feel Santiago, Chile as a Chilean experience.
Finally I think the tourist bus is different than the tourist walking and goes into our culture, I am sure that tourists who walked and made his own tour will return home with more stories, and interesting things to tell and remember.

ALAS Congress

- What were the highlights of the trip?
- What was the weather like

This activity maybe was a little dificult to me, because this trip to Argentina was more for pleausure than work, it`s a shame about me, but why lie in this text, so all of my experiencie in this Congress has a big skew . This skew are product of my loud concurrency at the Cogress but at least I know very good de city and de culture of argentinian people.

The best conference was of Anibal Quijano, a peruvian sociologist. Who has worked many years a topic about marginality in South America. He spoke about the marginality like a bad consecuence of dependent capitalism. He propose that the only way to overcome this situation it's change the development style, because the depent capitalism don`t have the capacity to incorporate this mass of people , because her own dynamic doesn`t alows. Quijano talks more than I wrote here, but you know memory is so fragil in the human being and more especial than me ( maybe Conace that`s right).

The bad points in this Congress are maybe the time. All activities were I go doesnt start at the time of the program. It`s very important than papers start at the time, because there is a international Congress and need a little bit of good organization and seriously.

The most I like about the Congress was a instance to met a lot of sociologist around the South America and share experiencies about her countries and lifes.

The hightlights of this trip are no doubt de beautiful argentinas, he makes me crazy in every corner. A great point to was de free fork when for a few moneys you can eat a lot.

Finally the weather are very good I love Buenos Aires and in a future I would live here

some words about Transantiago

This project was conceived during the Ricardo Lagos goverment, but was implemented during the Bachelet goverment in about 2006. Behind this policy was the promise to modernize all of the transportation system, so this incremented expectations of Chilean citizens to have a great system like the Swedish.

When the project started had all problems of a bad policy, 'cuz this policy was based in Colombia experience and the social engenires doesn`t know about social world but know about of social programation whitout hear people. So the first months the project, was evaluated for the citizens like a shame. The principal reasons of this bad evaluation was the lack information about bus tours, the system to pay and the big queue to get on the bus. I remember this first period of transantiago like a real shit and fell nostalgic about oldies yellow bus.
The second period of this proyect, was good, 'cuz all the problems that social engenires don`t saw were solve of the march and the opinion of the people was hear more than the firs time.
Actually Transantiago works better than begin, maybe has problems but I hope there solve soon and If don´t solve I go to street and burn the goverment.
